Well as some of you might know, the computer I'm working on is only the second one I've owned (The first one I've built :-D)
In transferring the files from my old computer to this one I burned a TON of CDs.
Seems that some of my files, mostly Final Draft (.fdr) files, didn't exactly make it from my old computer whole.
I thought I had lost most of my 'nine lives' script I am working on... It's about 110 pages and the only file I could pull up had about 20 pages of it.
Well Thank God for gmail.
Seems I sent myself a couple of attachments awhile back, in case something like this happened. I kinda remembered did this and searched my Gmail archive just in case.
...I didn't have the final draft (.fdr) file BUT I had a full version of the script in text format.
Thank God!
Man I thought I would have to write all of that over again....heh.
....
I would've, but wouldn't of looked forward to it.
Remember kids: back up your files. Send yourself copies...keep them safe!
