Do you think this is just a fad that will go away? I honestly don't.  The numbers may decline...maybe...but there will always be a high number of people that use blogs.  Especially on a web area like mindsay; where there is community built around blogging. 

I'm of the idea that most people don't write blogs for other people; they write them for themselves as a sort of catharsis.  It is helpful sometimes to vent and venting on a blog is much safer then telling your boss (or whoever) to go stuff you know what you know where...

Of course a person wouldn't be writing things online if they didn't want someone to comment on something...in the end a person will write what he/she wants regardless :-D

...just a few thoughts.  Think this blogging thing will ever go away? Do you like or dislike the term 'blog?'

(I still think it sounds like something you do after you're to drunk to stand up... but I'd rather say blog then weblog.  Probably the lazy person in me.)
