Welcome to the Arid Zone - it's been a long, strange trip.

I almost had a major accident today. One right out of the movies...Screeching tires, horns, cars blasting through the wall of smoke...

It was pretty intense.

I was traveling along and suddenly a car slams on his breaks in front of me.  He goes careening down the free way, all four tires smoking. That car was in the left lane, another car almost hit him, jerking in to my lane. Meanwhile the first vehicle whips around the road and starts towards traffic. I see the car in my lane in time to jerk my truck on to the shoulder of the free way and slam on my breaks.

The first vehicle made it in to the middle of the road. Myself and the other vehicle were on the other side.. One person stopped to see if we were alright and a highway patrol agent showed up pretty fast. No one was hurt so the officer let me go.

Thank God no one got hurt. All I know is that my mind just focused on what to do to not to get hit and get out of the way of on coming traffic.

This was after I almost ran in to a vehicle earlier. I didn't see a van and almost touched him with the truck.

I'm not having a good month with vehicles Thank God no one was hurt in either case.
