Some comments on the movie Serenity:

I just saw one of the best movies of the year today.

Serenity is the name and it is the movie sequel to the short lived tv series called 'Firefly'.  Don't worry about watching the TV Series, I've only saw a part of one episode and I still enjoyed this movie.  (However after seeing the movie my friend went and bought the series on DVD and I am planning on buying it ASAP.)

This movie has everything: A good plot, well written dialouge; believable characters; it's funny, dramatic, heartfelt and heart wrenching, and action packed.  It takes place in a universe that didn't just 'appear.'  Events happened before the movie and will continue on after.

This story does what any good story should; suspends your disbelief and makes you think the westren can live again in science fiction form.

I don't think you'd even have to like science fiction to like this movie...

Maybe not everyone will have the same reaction I did to this grand vision of the future; but I honestly think this is what the new star wars movies should've been.

If hollywood made more movies like this there wouldn't be a 'theater' slump...

All I can say is: Josh Wedon is my master now... The browncoats will lead the revolution!

(Lucas and Rick Bergman should get this guy to write and direct the next star wars and star trek movies.)
