Welcome to the Arid Zone - it's been a long, strange trip.

..surpassed 10,000 unique hits for the month of March..as of today. That means (generally speaking) 10,000 different IP address' have viewed my site. You can say that each IP address represents at least on individual, but it may be a little more or a little less. Sometimes web stats can be a bit vague heh. Anyway you look at this it is quite an accomplishment and totally unexpected. The most Unique Hits I had when running the site in 2006 is 400. Our Unique hit count has doubled since last month, and I'm wondering if we won't top 11,000 by Tuesday.

Man, I just gotta give praise to God on this. This is seriously something I didn't expect. It may not be that much in compared to other websites..but (from what I understand) when we start getting about 30,000 hits per month it starts looking good to advertisers.  Wouldn't it be cool to be able to make a living off one single website?

Plans for the future include bringing the actual webcomic Random Encounters back up (Look for it weds.)  Adding a ton more content to the page, redesigning it a bit, and a month of reviews. One a day from April 1st to April 30th.  I'm also starting to plan a small convention around Random Encounters; Call me crazy but I might as well be prepared (It'll be called RE:Con for those that are interested.)

Anyway, I'm excited. God is good and I will be expecting the site to continue to be popular.
