Welcome to the Arid Zone - it's been a long, strange trip.

You know, I replied to alwaysdoot and decided to just post it as a blog entry, since it is my morning. I had a meeting canceled on me today. I was suppose to have a meeting after work this morning and my boss canceled it (But I didn't get the memo...  Or at least that is what I was told.)  We ended up having an impromptu meeting, since a bunch of *other* employees didn't get the memo either. I'm not even sure there was a memo.

Anyway I usually go around fairly unshaven, my job isn't one where I have to shave on a daily basis. And I hate shaving and really only do it as little as possible (I know..I need to just bite the bullet and get one of those really fancy electric shavers.) I try to shave when I go in to the office, to keep up apperances a bit. So after as I was driving home from my meeting that wasn't a meeting,

I looked in the mirror and thought "Did I shave my face for this?" heh. ah well.

In other news, the group home I am working in is getting a house manager.  We are pretty good at keeping the house up and going by ourselves, so I'm hoping this "house manager' doesn't decide to interfer with the routines that we have set for the guys.  You know how it is: New management have to change things just because.  At my meeting that wasn't a meeting today, I mentioned that we needed to keep everything the same, since we have been pretty autonomous for about 3 months now.

Which I like.

Anyway..just a little glimpse into my "actual" job.  I work awake shift at said home, which means I have a lot of time on my hands.....
