Welcome to the Arid Zone - it's been a long, strange trip.

Okay, I meant to put these up last night, but I became..distracted.

So here goes..what I resolve for this year.

I, The Arid Zoner (aka Deejrandom, wordsmith, "Dood") hereby resolve to (in no particular order)

     1. Write everyday. No matter if I only write one sentence I will get something down on disk everyday of this year. I started yesterday and have continued today.  Woo hoo!

    2. Loose Weight. I want to feel healthy again..tired of feeling ..well tired.

    3. Start selling my writing.  I want to be making a living off my writing by the end of the year.

    4.  Be out of my job by oct.  It is a good job but I really would like to be gone from here by then. 
 
    5. Record at least one podcast a week.

    6. Fix my trailer up and become more comfortable in my surroundings.

    7. Play my guitar more. It is a talent that I am wasting.
 
    8. become closer to God. 
 
    9. Travel More. I miss traveling.  I love to see other places. I want to go to more then a few scifi/fantasy cons this year.. I'm currently planning on attending Dragon*Con in Atlanta in August. Buying the tickets this month

    10. work on a few games I have going with other people. Maybe this should be filed under writing, but they are separate projects then my personal projects. 

    11. Some personal things that I won't mention here. However you guys will know if it happens

    12. Just become a better all around person.  Like my self more, get rid of several pieces of baggage I've been carrying around for years.  I don't even know what is in them so I need to throw them out

    13. Get the media stuff going with my friends again. Get us all out of the jobs and in to making money at what we love to do.

    14. Be a better brother/son and a better friend.

    15.  This is reserved for those things that will happen this year that I don't know about yet. I know I'll want to do/be/play/whatever but these things haven't happened yet

Anyway that's just a small list of my dreams, hopes, etc.  I have faith that this year will be different.
