For those of you not 'in the know.'
For about five days now my sewage tank has been backed up. I've had to go to other places to use the bathroom, very not fun at 4 am in the morning.
I've tried everything I knew how (Which isn't much, granted) to get the pipe unclogged, but nothing seemed to work.
Not even the super powerful toilet paper eating chemical that I bought from the RV/Trailer supply place.
So my mom, who always has an ace up her sleeve, called said ace.
Ace, btw, is my second cousin who builds houses for a living. He has helped my mom almost as much (if not AS much) as my grandpa.
I guess I'm carrying on the family tradition...
He had a sewer snake and it still took like an hour to get the darn thing unclogged.
Of course when it did become unclogged the sewage hose wasn't attached to the trailer...
At least there was only one big piece of, uh, 'sewage' that was clogging the system.
A stubborn piece of icky flotsam that really wasn't that big.
The good news is that the water that spilled on the ground had very few lumps.
The bad news is well...it smells like a sewage plant around my trailer for the time being.
Luckily it'll dry quick and I put a good amount of bleach on the offending spot to help along the recovery.
At least God designed our waste to be the ultimate in natural, decomposing material.
It's nice to have a semi modern toilet back working. I once asked my grandpa what they used when he was a kid (For toilet paper) and he said "Generally the sears catalog." The ultimate in try before you buy...
